Corporate Headquarter Projects
     
  GSD&M Advertising Headquarters---SYP negotiated the long-term ground lease on the land and developed the 145,000 square foot office complex located on West 6th Street for GSD&M Advertising. Click here to play video of GSD&M construction.

 

Whole Foods Market Corporate Headquarters and Market -- Scott Young Properties ("SYP") negotiated the long-term ground lease on the land and developed the 107,000 square foot office and retail project at 6th & Lamar for Whole Foods Market.


  National Instruments Corporation -- SYP provided site selection services and brokered the purchase of the land for National Instruments Corporate Headquarters from IBM Corporation.

 

Museum Park -- SYP negotiated the purchase of 4 blocks of prime downtown land and coordinated the design and city entitlements for the 600,000 square foot office complex known as Museum Park. Prior to commencing construction on the project, SYP sold the project to Intel Corporation for their Austin headquarters.

 
Adaptive Reuse and Urban Development Projects
 
  1105 Lamar Office and Retail Building -- SYP purchased and redeveloped the 32,000 square foot Louis Shanks furniture store into office and retail space for Whole Foods Southwest Regional offices and Marco Polo's Attic.

  1011 Lamar Office Building -- SYP purchased and redeveloped the former Hitch'n Post Restaurant and Louis Shanks furniture store annex into office space.

 

600 Lamar Retail Center -- Home to Austin originals, Waterloo Records and Amy's Ice Cream and located at 6th and Lamar, the 600 Lamar Retail Center was one of the first adaptive reuse projects in the downtown area and was the catalyst for much of redevelopment of the "West End" of downtown Austin. This project was developed with Austin investor, Roger Joseph.


 

West End Center -- SYP brokered the land sale of the McMorris Ford Dealership to Whit Hanks. Afterwards, SYP consulted with Mr. Hanks on the re-development of the dealership into the West End Center and SYP handled the leasing for the project.


 

Taco Cabana -- SYP developed and owns the Taco Cabana restaurant overlooking Town Lake at Riverside and Lamar. This is one of the highest grossing Taco Cabana's in Austin.

 
Flex Space Development
 
 

Cameron Technology Center -- A 120,000 square foot, three building, flex space project located at 9100 Cameron Road in Northeast Austin. Cameron Technology Center in close proximity to Dell, Samsung and Applied Materials and lead tenants include Coors Tek, Hydrolab and Pitney Bowes.


  Cameron Business Park -- A 117,500 square foot office / warehouse project located at 9701 Dessau (Cameron) Road. This six-building complex has quality tenants such as Horriba-Stec, Samsung, Kent Electronics and Diebold.

  Walnut Creek Business Center -- A 100,000 square foot, three building office / manufacturing complex located at 1601 Headway Circle in the Walnut Creek Business Center. Lead tenants include Applied Materials and DTM Corporation.

  Cross Creek Business Center -- A 62,000 square foot office / service center facility located in the heart of the Walnut Creek Business Center at 8601 Cross Park Drive. Lead tenants include Applied Materials and Aera Corporation.

  Rutland Business Center -- A 55,000 square foot office / service center complex located at 2136 Rutland Drive in the heart of Braker Center. Lead tenants include Entech, Peak International and Linfield Design.

  Promontory Point "A" -- A 46,000 square foot office / service center project located at 2324 Ridgepoint Drive near the intersection of Highway 183 and Highway 290 in Northeast Austin. Lead tenants include Clola, Storage Technology and TUV Rheinland.

  Enterprise Business Center -- A 30,000 square foot office/service center facility located at 8107 Springdale Road, between Highways 290 and 183.
